Tile Inscription

The inscription comprising almost-square shaped rectangular tiles features script in the colour of the white slip on a background of aubergine purple, almost black. The inscription is bounded with white lines in relief and turquoise bands. Some pieces indicate that the paint on the background was smudged on the letters and that the glaze was deformed during firing. The widths varies between 21-22 cm, the heights varies between 21,5-23 cm.
Some terms, barely legible, indicate that the inscription uncovered at the excavation of the palace was related with a sultan.
